Arborvore spoons are created by Suzanne Isabelle, whose skill as a spoon carver is complimented by her artisitc eye developed over the years as a photographer. Suzanne began making spoons in 2015 for her friends and family, and as people saw the beauty of her spoons the demand for them grew into a business. Suzanne loves working with local native wood, and loves nothing more than searching for potential spoon wood after a good wind storm. She is a member of the Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers, an organization she recommends to anyone living in the state with an interest in working with wood.
