Arborvore spoons are created by Suzanne Isabelle, whose skill as a spoon carver is complimented by her artisitc eye developed over the years as a photographer. Suzanne began making spoons in 2015 for her friends and family, and as people saw the beauty of her spoons the demand for them grew into a business. Suzanne loves working with local native wood, and loves nothing more than searching for potential spoon wood after a good wind storm. She is a member of the Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers, an organization she recommends to anyone living in the state with an interest in working with wood.

You can read more about Suzanne and her spoon carving process in the Take Magazine article Specializing in Spoons, written by Beth Daigle of 3 Olives & A Twist.
